MAKING MIRRORS IS AN ART.       R squared is a glass workshop that specializes in designing and making mirrorglass, handmade mirrors and mirrored furniture. We are artists and craftsmen that make mirrors the old way, by hand, one at a time, starting with transparent glass. We take great care to insure that our glass is indistinguishable from actual antique mirror – by carefully developing various patinas and coloring that look naturally occuring.

Among the varieties of  our  mirrorglass, there is flat glass [F], machined blown [MR], and handblown [HB].  The glass is silvered before we are able to achieve various patinas ranging from subtle [0.5-1], medium [2-3], and heavier [ 4-6]. We are also consistently developing new custom varieties that include cut amber glass and blue marine mirror plate.
